What this means is that 18 percent of the oil is EPA and 12 percent is DHA. So in other words in one 1000 milligrams capsule you’re getting 180 milligrams of EPA and 120 milligrams of DHA.

Remember, that’s all you’re looking to get, the rest is just filler.

If all capsules were 18/12 then you might be able to compare on price. However they aren’t. In fact there are wide variations in the amount of DHA and EPA that you’re getting in different brands of capsules.
